《爱尔兰式再见》是一部黑色喜剧，以北爱尔兰农村的一个农场为背景，讲述了疏远的兄弟特洛(谢默斯·奥哈拉饰)和洛坎(詹姆斯·马丁饰)在母亲(米歇尔·费尔利饰)英年早逝后重聚的故事。在古怪的教区神父O ' shea(帕迪·詹金斯饰)的监视下，特洛必须为患有唐氏综合症的Lorcan做出新的照顾安排，这使兄弟俩痛苦的团聚变得更加糟糕。但当兄弟俩发现已故母亲的遗愿清单上还有一份未完成的遗愿清单时，洛肯感觉到了一个机会:只有他和特洛完成了母亲遗愿清单上的每一个愿望——全部100个，他才会同意离开农场。
