本片根据真实故事改编，讲述一个拥有天赋嗓音的韩国男高音裴再哲，在一次彩排中突然失声，经过检查患有甲状腺癌，必须放弃歌唱生涯。就在他失意彷徨之时，他的日本经济人给予他极大的支持和帮助，并鼓励他重返舞台……金相万导演与个性演员刘智泰继《深夜的FM》后的再度合作。在绚烂华丽的歌剧舞台上，刘智泰挑战诗意的“抒情”演唱法和“气力型”的个性唱腔，与日本实力派演员伊势谷友介、具有都市气质的女星车艺莲，共同演绎一个温情而又感伤的故事。
